In celebration of the 20-year anniversary of Anomalous' first recorded demo, Explodotron Productions brings you Cognitive Dissonance (2023). Featuring a complete re-recording of the original 5 tracks from 2006 utilizing the latest and greatest audio technology, this rerelease represents the best sounding version of each song to date. Also features 2 demo tracks from the aforementioned 2003 demo: Metastasize (2003) and a totally different version of the track from 2011's OHMnivlanet, The Seraphim Veil (2003). The release includes special note from band co-founder Tim Halo describing how Anomalous began and how and why the re-recording came into being.

Tbh I typically stay away from "tech death" bands. Seems like majority of bands now lack the melody and groove that used to be present when this shit was really gaining light. These guys are tight and technical but very groovy. It's like if Decapitated, Faceless and Soreption had a baby. Great work guys!!! rodentsnatch
